@javoncrosstv: When you teach people that suffering is the greatest expression of love,we don’t have to think too hard to understand how pain becomes confused with commitment and sacrifice becomes a form of ownership.And there it is…submission gets confused with subordination.At one point,marriage legally gave husbands extensive power over their wives.The laws changed,but much of that same psychology remains embedded in religious doctrine. And guess what,you can read this and make it a gender debate,or you can look beyond your personal allegiance and recognize the irony of a psychology destroying the very relationships it boastfully claims to preserve!!

Precisely! Love and misery don’t belong in the same experience. Existing under capitalism is already hell on earth and then people commit to it by making permanent decisions with temporary people. Having babies with people they don’t even know in the mind, only bumped bodies with and now won’t stuck in preventable chaos. They act like having a baby is required. It’s not. Only under the systems of power that need people for profit to be employees in the system and endlessly reliant on them to sustain the kids they can’t afford. Smh!
