tbh I’ve seen york police rival this level of speeding with no lights or sirens 😭 a cop was on my bumper genuinely 2 cm away and then the road split to two lanes and he proceeds to accelerate to genuinely 120+ in a 60

It's the 407. I used to take it to work every day many years ago. 180 is like the average speed when there isn't much traffic. Even during rush hour when it's packed nobody is doing under 130. I remember I was once doing close to 150 in the left lane just keeping up with traffic, while an OPP SUV was riding my bumper from like 1 inch, and when I switched lane to the right to move out of his way he blasted past at about 180. This is perfectly normal for the 407. I personally find it ridiculous they don't reevaluate laws that only 1/1000 people follow. It's not like he's doing 180 in some school zone, in which case I would agree, he definitely needs to be arrested - he was doing the normal speed most 407 drivers do.

As someone who speeds everywhere, you definitely should’ve arrested him. I know damn well if I did that past a cop, and didn’t get arrested, I 1000000% would continue to speed.
