@emmysmemmy: My heart truly goes out to all of the pediatric cancer moms. It’s tough to feel like you need to smile and be brave for your child when you feel like your world is crashing beneath you. It’s okay to cry, if anything you’re showing your child it’s okay for them to cry too. It’s okay to scream, actually it can release some endorphins so get after it. This last one is tough and I know you’re still not going to do it, but it IS okay to ask for help. That next person that says “let me know how I can help?” actually respond. “I’d love a coffee” “can you take (sibling) to the park?” “I’d love to leave the room for 5 minutes can you come play with them?” Everyone is so proud of your child.
