My baby is the same age I think- almost 8 weeks- and she still wakes up at 12, 3, 6 to feed lol 🫠

Do you wait until he’s fully asleep before putting him in the bassinet or when he’s awake/drowsy! I have a 4 week old and the thought of putting him down before he’s asleep sounds so hard lol

i looooved my boone trove in the early stages of breast feeding!! are you just resting it in your bra or pushing it in for suction? pushing it in for suction helped increase my supply (to the point i’m over produce significantly) and i feel like i owe it all to the boon trove!!

We got a tiny fridge for the bedroom so I won’t be going across the house to put milk in the fridge

For cradle cap, I used baby oil on his scalp and then in the bath I brushed it off with an extra edge brush I use for slick backs lol. Also, I had to supplement with formula to get baby everything he needed. He fell off the growth chart around 3 weeks, so that’s when we started. It was disappointing, but it really helped with night feedings and I was able to start freezing milk! My body could not keep up with what he needed or wanted for bottle feedings

I would pump 1 hour after the first morning feed to start building a stash and for night time bottles. I always produced way more in the morning vs. at night.

The one night waking is making me so jealous rn 😭 my daughter used to sleep through the night (starting right at 2 months), but once she hit 6 months the sleep regression hit hardddd. Now she wakes up at least 3 times a night 😩

Was not my favorite, but what really helped build my stash was pumping after my daughter’s 2am feed! The lactation consultant I talked to said prolactin, the hormone responsible for breastmilk production, said it’s highest in the early hours like 2am-6am. I got so much from that one pumping session!

I’m not familiar with what you used but I like the hakka for collecting on the other side. The suction helps me get more out.

Breast milk baths were amazing for my kiddos’ skin. Once you get that extra supply, I highly recommend!!

Honestly I don’t consider the newborn stage over until they have passed the burping/spit up stage and being able to hold themselves up if your holding them! I have a four month old and she’s just about out of that! 🥰🥺

Our pediatrician told us to use Vaseline or oil for cradle cap. Put it on in the bath let it sit for a few minutes and it helps lifts it and then just used a little comb and it worked so well.
