Wine mom culture is so normalized. I’ll be at my son’s soccer game. One of the moms will just walk up to me say “Hey girl” then proceeds to hand me a thermos full of wine. I’m sober, pls don’t hand me hydro flask full of wine.

To anyone starting their sobriety please give it time! Don't fall back. We've be sober for almost 4 years, and I could never go back. I feel so much better and my house is much more calm. My relationships with my husband and kid is so much better. Just everything is better. Normalizing sobriety should be a priority.

I was drinking HEAVILY, wake up drink a beatbox, at work for 10 hrs, drinking three beatboxes, get home drink two more. Once I stopped I’d wake up in cold sweats, shaking so bad, vomiting, soooo out of it. Now might have kidney/liver damage. You guys have to realize it’s not a solution. Please take care of yourself.

Bartender here. it’s not the big idea. I’ve seen people drive to the bar their entire body shaking. Unable to keep food or water in. Staying all day. Finding them buck nekked with their man berries in the toilet bowl at the end of the night. It’s MADNESS. I refuse to serve when I see it or when I can see the signs of overconsumption.
