Wolf box is a good brand for their mirror dashcams, I install this brand for my aunt as she is an accident attorney.. I would double check switch those cables back around the camera doesn’t instantly turn on the first time until the car is one then turned off, you should see on the voltage meter box that when the car is on it reads 12-14.4v and when it is off it should read ACC and it should show up within a couple min so please switch them around you had it right the first time.. also make sure your wires go up and around any airbags because if you have them in front your run the risk of the airbags not deploying correctly and or the wire smacking you in the face causing unnecessary damage

One thing when hard wiring a dash camera is that it will always be running, and it’s actually a good thing. If the dash cam is always running even with the car parked and off, it will capture any accidents that happen when you aren’t driving. You didn’t do anything wrong while wiring it, it’s doing exactly what it’s supposed to.
