@lovingcreaturez: Fishermen were left baffled after repeatedly pulling up empty crab traps, but when they placed an underwater camera nearby, they discovered an unexpected culprit. For nearly five years, the crew had been fishing in the same waters without much trouble. But recently, something strange started happening. Every time they pulled up their crab traps, several were completely empty, with some even appearing to have been opened. Frustrated and confused, the fishermen decided to investigate. One crew member placed an underwater camera near the traps, hoping to catch whoever was stealing their catch. That’s when they discovered something nobody expected. An octopus had been approaching the traps, carefully manipulating the openings and allowing the crabs inside to escape. Over several hours, the clever animal was captured visiting five different traps, seemingly freeing the crabs one by one. The fishermen couldn’t believe what they were seeing. They had spent weeks wondering why their traps kept coming up empty, only to discover that an octopus had apparently been undoing their hard work. As one person joked, “They went fishing for crabs, but apparently the octopus had started its own crab rescue operation.” #wholesome #animals
