When my grandpa passed away they allowed my uncle to come to his funeral but he had to sit away from everyone and be handcuffed the entire time.

my brother came to our dads funeral in shackles, he wasnt supposed to but the co let me hug him. seeing him like that might have been the worst part of the whole situation

my bestfriend passed from cancer while her brother was locked up. from what i can remember, i think they let him come before the service started and before people starting arriving, but ik for sure he was able to come

my mom passed away while my brother was in prison & they let him out for a few hours with his parole officer. this was also back in 2013

When My nan was is hospital with C and my aunty was in prison they let her come see her mum with 2 guards standing outside in the hallway as they took her cuffs away and when it was time for the funeral my aunty had to keep her cuffs on and covered so the little cousins didnโt see and ask questions. This was back in 2012 and in Australia
