The "77 times" number has no source at all in Sahih Bukhari, Muslim, or any authentic book. The idea of "you saw something worth living for" is a nice motivational thought to give hope, but we should not attribute it to Allah if Allah didn't say it. That would be lying about Allah, which is very serious in Islam.This dunya is described as a *test*. Allah says "We created death and life to test you" (Surah Mulk 67:2). A test is not one you choose after previewing.
