because your body cools while resting or something to maintain dynamic equilibrium, when we sleep our body gets hours to maintain that state then when we start to wake we have already adapted to where we are, however when we nap, our body is still all over the place from let's say getting out of school, on to the bus and inside. Your body needs time to get back to its perfect range of dynamic equilibrium which a nap doesn't provide, meaning that your body is heating up as opposed to cooling down. The heat is usually balanced out as you sleep but with naps you don't get enough time to cool the heat before waking

I think it's because of the cycle of rem you wake up in. so like when you nap you usually wake up when your body is actually starting to sleep meanwhile if you get a full night's of sleep it's easier to wake up. also I usually only wake up sweaty if I fell asleep when it was light out. idk if that effects it

it's because most of the time your body doesn't know when you're gonna wake up, bc nap wake ups are usually unpredictable unlike normal sleep that's awoken naturally with time

Basically, sleep occurs in different stages of varying consciousness, with REM being the lightest stage of sleep (the stage you wake up easiest from) and NREM 3 being the deepest (the stage it’s hardest to wake you up from). From an evolutionary standpoint, putting the deepest stage of sleep in the first couple of hours ensures the most security as you probably made sure your environment was safe before sleeping, so when you take a nap you are waking up from a deep stage of sleep with little to no transition into lighter stages of sleep which leaves you confused and disoriented, but during an 8/9 hour sleep cycle, you gradually progress from deeper stages of sleep to lighter ones, meaning that in lighter stages of sleep, your brain is subconsciously taking in information about your environment prior to you waking up. Also, another thing, in deeper stages of sleep, your brain has little activity, meaning that it takes a while for your brain activity to reach normal levels following a nap.
