I’m genuinely and seriously asking for clarification on this post. Because I believe in God (unsure on what religion/book I believe in fully) but then this type of post makes God come off like an abuser. Because my ex abuser did the thing where they break you and then want to rescue you from the trauma they caused, so you become dependent on them for relief and conditioned to take more pain so as to not be “mad” about it later and just be grateful u are saved from it continuing on. And it sounds odd saying God will hurt us so he can take the glory for saving us. It sounds so narcissistic. Idk. I believe in God and all, I’m just unsure how to see this as non abusive in terms of perception of him. I do like your other posts though. This is not me trying to just rage bait. I’d like actual answers. I am not being a troll.
