@dershpiel: Thailand has purchased Israel’s Arbel anti-drone system to upgrade its soldiers’ existing rifles, according to Globes. Made by Israel Weapon Industries, the technology helps troops shoot down small drones without carrying a separate weapon. Arbel uses computerized firing controls to improve accuracy against moving targets. Thailand chose to install it in weapons it already owns, allowing soldiers to keep using familiar rifles. The system is already deployed or being introduced in approximately 25 other countries. IWI is also discussing additional orders with Thai military organizations. The purchase price and number of systems were not disclosed.
