Just some interesting Info: Eggs in Europe aren’t stripped of their natural protective layer, as they are in the US. The "Bloom" (Cuticle) is stripped away during the washing process in the US. In Europe they’re left fully intact as a natural biological shield.

My grandmother and grandfather came here from Italy in 1921. My grandmother used to say how here we just don’t have any good markets. Now I see what she meant! I can’t wait to go to Italy.

It’s crazy the De Cecco brand here in the grocery stores has so many different ingredients 🤬 whereas if you get it in Italy, it’s 2 ingredients: semolina and water.
