One of my close friends had one forevvvvverrrr and no one could fix it. She ended up going to Mayo and getting it repaired (HALLELUJAH!!!) but this had always been my biggest fear and when it happened to her, I was siiiickkkk. So sad!

Found out some people develop vag!nal Crohn’s. Super rare but I was shook. Like not just a fistula, like Crohn’s inflammation and ulcerating IN THE VAG!NAL CANAL

my dad had a fistula from bladder to colon.. he went number 2 out of number 1..... hr had an ileostomy and colostomy bag for a few months and then a takedown of both... chrons is crazy!

My best friend had this happen, where a fistula formed between her colon and uterus, and she had fecal matter coming out of it. She was so used to Crohn’s pain that she wrote it off, until it got super severe, which resulted in a very long impatient day, sepsis, and emergency surgery to remove the diseased intestine and repair the fistula. Crohn’s is so hard, and in my opinion, understudied and not always well treated. You’re so strong!! Praying for you hun!! 🙏❤️

yup… fresh into my UC diagnosis i had a fistula right where you said and it was one of the most humbling experiences of my life. used a peri bottle for years after and lowkey still do.
