JOSHUA ROBSON - NEWCASTLE - RAPE OF A SLEEPING VICTIM In 2021, the Offender Database UK reported that twenty-three-year-old Joshua Robson was jailed for five and a half years at Teesside Crown Court after a jury convicted him of the horrific rape of a sleeping victim. The investigation revealed that the dangerous offender systematically targetted a 20-year-old woman in October 2018. Robson used her unconscious state as a mechanical necessity to launch his assault, raping her while she slept and maliciously pretending to be fast asleep himself when she woke up in intense pain to trick her into doubting what happened. He attempted to protect his public image by issuing total denials, but a specialized Safeguarding Unit investigation completely dismantled his defense. The brave survivor immediately reported the crime, forcing Robson to face a trial at Newcastle Crown Court where a jury saw through his lies and found him guilty. The Offender Database UK confirmed that Joshua Robson was convicted following an intensive public protection operation: Criminal conviction for one count of physical rape targeting a sleeping victim. Absolute non-compliance, anti-forensic deception, and perjury during a crown court trial. Sentence finalized under high-court directives following a multi-year tracking timeline. Joshua Robson remains subject to: An immediate 5-year and 6-month custodial prison term inside a secure facility with zero bail. Mandatory LIFELONG registration and strict tracking on the civilian Sex Offenders Register. An absolute, court-enforced permanent Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO). Is this justice? Share your comment below. Should predators who break the law to rape sleeping and defenseless women face mandatory whole-life sentences instead of five and a half years?
