I Forgot to buy bread and only had bagels 🥯 at home . So we used bagels for sacrament .

One time years ago, around Thanksgiving time, somebody forgot to buy bread for the sacrament when grocery shopping but they did happen to get a Costco two-pack of rolls. I’m exmormon now, but to this day it’s my favorite fun fact that while Catholics get sad wafers, for Mormons sometimes - if you’re very lucky- the body of Christ can be King’s Hawaiian rolls.

My grandparents live ed next-door to the church. I had to run over there many times to grab a loaf of bread. Lol

When my dad was young men’s president they went and bought tons of bread from Costco and froze it. It was my brothers job to remember to get it out to thaw so sometimes it was a little cold 😂
