It’s a great view / vibe when going down the city while getting to your destination. You cut/go through the park for many reasons and leisure is one of many

last month I was running in the pedestrian lane and a biker for some reason swerved into the lane and hit me from behind. I had to get 6 staples in my head and had severe nerve damage on both of my wrists

I commute daily through central park and I think so much is dramatized. It def isnt overrun with two wheelers, just gets a bit more full because of tourists occasionally. We def need more two way bike lanes all over the city since salmon are a real issue city-wide

People have too much time on their hands. Honestly. There are much more important things to deal with. There are literal road that cross the park. Should we ban people walking through on their way to a destination, as opposed to ambling around aimlessly? 🙄

Bike lanes on the transverses would make a HUGE difference! The only usable “cut through” in the park is 72nd around Bethesda bc it’s 2 way, but entering and exiting there is always a nightmare
