@the_laundryco: Yes, we bought a dumpy building. Yes, the sewer line had completely collapsed. The plumbing, electrical, and just about everything else needed to be replaced. And yes, I had zero experience in the laundry business and was about to invest a whole lot of money for the privilege of “collecting coins.” 😂 Shortly after buying the building, someone offered me significantly more than we paid. I could’ve taken a quick profit and moved on. But I knew I’d always wonder, “What if?” What if we brought this place back to life? What if we built a business our neighborhood could be proud of? What if we gave ourselves a chance to learn something new? So we went for it. We’ve put in the money, the work, and the time to learn. Now the doors are open, and we get to find out what this can become. Swipe to see how far we’ve come. 🧺 #TheLaundryCo #Laundromat #laundryrookie #LaundryFacility #BeforeAndAfter

If ppl have to spend hours there, at least make them feel like they are at home! This is a service to the community 🥰 consider a casual bingo nights or food truck nights, I saw a laundry mat doing it and everyone looked so happy to be there spending money

I grew up going to this laundry mat 🥹 sitting on those counters playing with my mom. You don’t know how much it means seeing it up & running again in a new way 🥹♥️💫🫶🏼

Love this only thing I saw it’s coin less and I just think about how sometimes people don’t have money on their debt card or might not have a bank account and need to wash but only have cash.
