i think Lwandle and Khwezi might have broken up due to Lwandle's side quests for a second girlfriend to appease his father, and during that break up she might have fallen pregnant with a rebound, and i think when they both got back together they agreed that they would raise the kid together because Lwandle understands how he contributed to the child being here, and it doesnt hurt that he is able to use this child to please his father who wants him to have children. i fear a lot of couples experience this, where they break up with their primary partners, have kids during that time and they get back together and choose to put a bandaid over outcomes of their break up period. they just need to own up to it, if this is the case because these things happen

And honestly even though I’m not Mpumelelo’s biggest fan..I blame the father. There is a clear indication that both Mpumelelo and Lwandle were not only pressured to get married, but to also do it as soon as possible. Mind you, he encouraged both of them not to go to university so they could focus on growing HIS lineage. Mseleku’s narcissism is affecting his children. Even this idea of the maidens uMseleku just wants Lwandle to get married no matter who it is. Ngyasola futhi ukuthi it’s the reason he proposed and wanted to pass the baby off as his… those boys are under so much pressure. It’s really sad to see.
