It’s all about perspective I think the 40,000 is well spent it gives you a free lesson. I lost over $150,000 past 8 years of being in business but I sold over $3 million worth of merchandise and kept a little bit of money.😂. Yeah it’s part of the game.

This seems like bad advice to me. Just because your skillset wasn't as a business owner (especially coming from corporate) doesn't mean someone else wouldn't have been about to increase profits. If you bought a business that made a profit the first year then didn't after you took over, doesn't that just means you didn't have the skills in business required? Which just means you will learn over time AND it's normal for business owners and entrepreneurs to put in 16 hours a day and not get paid for it. I'm not saying this to have a go, Id just hate to see other people give up an opportunity to buy and grow a cheap business. Business is hard but that doesn't mean you shouldn't do it it also doesn't mean you get what you pay for. I do also get you've given absolutely no context about the business, the numbers and what skills you have in business. Having said all of that I wish you all the success and hope it becomes everything you want it to be 🫶🏼
