Man I wish Apple would create something with these devices that would make me want to invest in home pods. I have the cheaper Amazon versions that were first to market. Amazon does the exact same thing at a better price points

Side note, but ever since HomeKit gave us the ability to choose a hub, I’ve found that my devices go offline more often when connected to HomePod. Even with a mesh system, I always keep my hub set to my ATV connected via Ethernet, I get the most reliable connection that away
