@monroviaplants: Ever wondered who keeps an eye out for the tiniest pests at a nursery? 🔎🌿 Meet Monrovia's bug scouts! These detail-oriented plant protection craftsmen regularly inspect our plants, looking for early signs of pests, diseases, and anything that might affect plant health. Coach Morelia Abrego is an expert in our Oregon nursery. Andrew is getting a firsthand lesson from her in what it takes to be a scout, starting with a challenge: finding tiny aphids hiding underneath the leaves of our hellebores. It takes a trained eye, a thorough understanding of what healthy plants should look like, and plenty of patience to spot potential problems before they become bigger ones. And there's a lesson here for home gardeners, too! Regularly checking your plants, especially the undersides of leaves, can help you catch pests early, when they're often easier to manage. Watch to see how Andrew does on his first scouting assignment. 👀 #monroviaplants #behindthescenes #planthealth #gardeningtips #nurserylife
