The Horror The Terror :

Because of Tom Skerrit, I’ve always wanted an armadillo cake at my wedding. I’ve never been married, only two I would have considered , my first GF but we broke up and my last girlfriend. Well my last girlfriend WAS my fiancee, but she died. She came home one day saying we needed to talk. Because of her kidney failure, needing a new kidney and also being diabetic, her doctor recommended she not have children and to get her tubes tied. She was afraid of what I would say. I wholeheartedly agreed! One hundred percent! I’ve SEEN Steel Magnolias!! Saying that last part to her in such an exaggerated, over the top manner made her laugh so hard. She was worried that I’d be disappointed that we couldn’t have kids. Personally, I didn’t care. Way I figured I was almost 47 (she had the surgery day before my birthday). By the time she got her kidney and we got married and we could possibly have a kid, I’d be in my early to mid 50s. I didn’t want to be the dad picking up their ten year old at school looking like a grandfather. Sadly she developed sepsis and died. Surgery meant to help save her, killed her. She was only thirty-five.
