one of my favourite reddit posts was this guy who got bit by a kid whose mom didnt care. He loudly exclaimed "oh my god you have to take him to the doctor and get him checked- im HIV positive" He was completely lying, but she FINALLY took it seriously.

I used to work as an aid for an autistic woman in her 50’s. We were at a bookstore and some kid was having a meltdown and hitting his mom and shoving the book displays to the ground. The mom said “he’s autistic.” My client said “me too, why do you let him do that?” The kid tried to kick my client and she said “you’re bad. Not autistic.” And walked off to find more books about horses. His mom was not happy.

It’s a big deal to get a human bite. You need to get tested for hepatitis and HIV and repeat that in 6 weeks. Plus it’s very likely to get infected.

I had a developmentally delayed individual donkey-kick me into a shelf once when I worked at Sephora. The mom tried to say he was just flirting with me. My manager called him the R word. (which I don’t advocate for, but the fuck do you mean he was flirting? At least apologize for God’s sake.)
