Guys I’m not asking for your opinion about getting a Doppler! I said it in the video i know half of you will say don’t get one. I’ve already made my decision 😁

Don’t get a doppler. A fellow anxious girl and I almost bought one 100 times. It’ll make your anxiety worse if he’s in a weird position and you can’t find the heartbeat

You will feel so much better once you start to feel movement

So having a Doppler made my anxiety 10000000% BETTER. I used it every morning for like 6 months lol Obviously once you feel them move you go off movement not heartbeat but it’s still nice to have lol

I loved my Doppler 🤷🏻♀️the bigger the baby got, the easier I found the heartbeat! I felt a lot better when I felt him more. Side note- how do you do your hair??❤️

Girl, I looked online. Amazon doesn’t sell the fetal Doppler anymore FDA restrictions. Try Facebook marketplace but I do agree that it may cause more anxiety. It’s a double edge sword.

As someone who has a posterior placenta & a healthcare worker &&&& did IVF … I would totally recommend it ! It’s so worth it!!! Don’t let these weird comments throw you off.

Don't have Doppler Rec because I never got one however I will say my anxiety got so much better once I could consistently and confidently feel baby moving, which was about at 18 weeks so maybe something to consider if you don't find a good Doppler rec!

I’m not sure but we might be transfer twins!!! I transferred on 7/21 and I’m currently 16 weeks and 2 days pregnant with our baby boy! I begging my clinic to let me come in yesterday cuz my anxiety was so bad but baby was fine. I have a Doppler at home but I was worried I wasn’t hearing baby and hearing my own heartbeat. I’m so happy for you

2 miscarriage’s before my baby got here! I understand the need for a Doppler. I used this one and never had a problem finding her. Tip: place wand on belly and keep it there and rotate/circle the wand without picking it up and moving it. Helped me find her when she was being difficult.

I am a registered. Midwife and here is my only concern with patients having a Doppler. Do not use it later in pregnancy as a replacement for monitoring kick counts or movement awareness. Just because you find a heartbeat does not mean your baby is well. The same way you wouldn’t walk past a trauma victim from a car accident and feel if they have a pulse and pronounce them well, is the same way finding a heartbeat in your baby and pronounce them well. The first thing a baby does when they are not OK is stop moving to conserve energy. That’s why after 28 weeks pregnant your baby should move six times in two hours (at least). And if they don’t, then you need to check in with your care provider and go to the hospital for a non-stress test. Sometimes pregnant people reach for the Doppler when they haven’t felt their baby move and find a heartbeat and immediately think everything is OK. So long as you are using the Doppler as an extra measure for reassurance and not using it to replace kit counts, I have no issue with my own patients having a Doppler at home. Best wishes in your pregnancy! 💕

Let us know when you decide on a Doppler. I looked at a few and I’m not sure which one is best.

I’ve been able to pick up heartbeat on Doppler weekly since 12 weeks. It’s so nice to have reassurance in between appointments! 100% worth it in my opinion. I’m 17 weeks and it’s easier to find now so I’m sure you’ll find it! Team Doppler all the way.

My ob office has an option for patients to sign up for this app called lovu. They sent me a bp cuff, scale and a doppler. The doppler is called EDAN and I really like it.

I always hear about how it can be difficult to find the heartbeat of the baby with an at home Doppler and that people end up hearing their own heartbeat instead of the baby if that makes sense

Order the Doppler girl. For me after a long, stressful day at work finding my baby’s heartbeat at home in the comfort of my own bed was almost like fun. I feel like it helps you feel your babies movements too, and you get to know their little personalities.

once they get bigger it can be so much harder to find. but I also wasn't very good at doing it and could never decipher the different sounds🤣

I went to private scans until 21 weeks and then the kicks helped. I never got a Doppler because I was so freaked out… don’t do it! From a fellow IVF GIRLY. The kicks HELP. It’s coming!!!

I loveeeeeeed having my Doppler lol I got mine from target! I will say that I didn’t use it until I had a Doppler appt so I could pay attention to the sound, the heart rate they got & where they placed it to successfully hear him but once you get it once, it’s addicting, the best sound in the worldddddd.
