It’s about showing up for moms and families during one of the most vulnerable, powerful, and life-changing moments of their lives. I will pull from my LAST ounce of energy to make sure a birthing mother feels supported, heard, advocated for, and never alone in her birth space. And especially for my BIPOC mamas, because Black & Brown women continue to face disproportionately high rates of pregnancy-related deaths in the United States. We deserve to be heard, respected, protected, and cared for, too. During this birth, FOUR amazing Labor & Delivery nurses clocked in & out💕💕, but your girl was there from start to finish 42 hrs no sleep!🥹 Because for me, It’s about the LOVE, the support, the advocacy, and knowing that a mother had someone in her corner, AND I DON’T PLAY!
