Jesus doesn't want us to have religion. He wants us to have a relationship with him. He wants our hearts.

something that also troubles me about the Catholic religion is they call their priest father and they confess their sins to them. there is but one father and he is in heaven and only Jesus Christ can forgive our sins.

I was born into a catholic family and I defended catholisism robustly until I started reading real bibles. They need our prayers

When you are raised Catholic, you automatically believe everything that is taught. It's only when you really read the words in the Bible that you start having discernment and start knowing what is going against his Word. I realized it when I got older. 🙏

Jesus on the cross is not trying to say he's dead. it's showing us how he sufferd and died for our sins. we all know he rose again and is seated at right hand of the father

We don’t worship Mary, the saints or anyone other than God. We ask for their intercession. Read the Apostles Creed.

No, Mary was assumed into heaven. She did not. She’s not buried. She was taken up into heaven.

Miz_Ayah🔘 :
the fact that Jesus was crucified by the Roman's then they started a religion to control the narrative since they couldn't hide or explain away His resurrected, being seen by 500 people after and ascending to heaven and the arrival of the Holy spirit and people ignore it like its not the foundation of false churches and religions is crazy to me. Jesus didn't come to bring religion, the Roman's did to retain power and control the narrative. may the veil be removed from people's eyes to step out of religion and focus on Christ directly....

Jesus is God 🙏 :
It is saying don’t make an idol of other Gods but no where is it saying don’t make an idol of me your God, so we are allowed to make idol of God himself. Since Jesus is God we can make images of Jesus and make statues of Jesus. Since we respect and love our God Jesus we honor his mother Mary and we are allowed to make images of her and statues because we are honoring her and keeping her in our memory so we never forget her either and since Angel Gabriel gave her the most powerful and great message we honor the angels and we are allowed to make images of angels and remember them. We don’t worship the images or statues itself. We honor and keep them in our memory. Example you keep an image of your father or mother or sibling that past away does that mean you are worshipping those images????? Grow up and stop spreading lies
