Your takes are incredibly valid and I am anti ai but your missing a big factor here when it comes to the class issue you mentioned. It’s not so much that people don’t have money (at least in my eyes) to pay for good graphic design or even any graphic design they could do for free, it’s because a lot of these people from a disadvantaged background aren’t as well educated, especially on the issues around ai, as people who criticise it are aware of and take for granted. Raising awareness is the solution by all means but there’s a line between that and shaming underprivileged people who genuinely don’t know any better. The majority people who run these businesses (like corner shops, takeaways news agents etc) statistically didn’t have the same access to quality education (not that it’s a rule those are just the facts) and if you’re running a business by yourself you typically don’t have a lot of free time to be properly educated on it as far as social media goes. Also i don’t know where yall were for the last 15 years or so but people have been making fun of these businesses for poor graphic design for ages snd theres definitely people nowadays who just want to mask their snobbery with some kind of ethical guise and it just rubs me wrong. You shouldn’t attribute to malice which can be attributed to incompetence and while it is by all means something to be criticised pick your targets correctly and remember the big issue here is the billionaires making millions from these people’s disinformation.

Ai can never replace the beauty of a canva advertisement and comic sans font for moving boxes. And yes, many of people dropped by boxes when I put my flyer in the lobby
