@throwblackcollegetx: Texas Southern University is bringing civic engagement to the Hilltop! 🐯 State Representative @Team Talarico , a Texas Democratic politician serving in the Texas House of Representatives, is joining @MONALEO 🪷 at TSU for a meet-and-greet and a march to the polls, encouraging students and the community to participate in the voting process. The event also features Houston rapper Monaleo, bringing music and community engagement together as TSU students take part in a march to the polls. 🎤🗳️ With affordability, healthcare, education, and the cost of living among the issues affecting Texans, opportunities like these put civic participation in the spotlight. HBCU campuses have a rich history of student activism, and this is another reminder that student voices matter in conversations about the future of their communities. #TexasSouthern #Texas #TheCultureDecides #JamesTalarico #CVPriority
