@hvac_tips3: AC outdoor unit stopped working? 🛑 Check this FIRST! Testing an AC capacitor with a multimeter is super simple. Here’s how we verify 35+5 uf ratings in seconds. #HVAC #HVACLife #HVACtech #AirConditioning #DIYHVAC
I’d check for high and low voltage first, then work my way through the contactor. If voltage is good then i would move to capacitor. I’ve learned to chase where the failure is that way. But to each their own! Good cap video!

If the outdoor unit isn’t working the first thing you check is incoming power. Then check call. Then check capacitor. You go straight to the cap. Your little diagram showing what wire colors go where isn’t any good unless they have a carrier/bryant unit 😂

I'm thinking I should check the sound of my video first

On a TXV system with low suction pressure and high superheat, how would you distinguish between low refrigerant charge and a liquid-line restriction?

Check incoming voltage on line side. Check control circuit voltage. Then contactor. Of everything good, Evaluate capacitor next. My thought process.
