One time I told my mom about the boomer lead paint stare and her response was “I remember starring out the window as a child waiting for my dad to come home from work and I would naw on the window seal and paint would come off” she quite literally consumed lead paint

They used to fill cavities with mercury and once my mom was left alone in the room and took the mercury out of the container played with it put it in her mouth then spit it back into the tube.
