😳 The school notified me that my middle child was absent….. I put him on the bus and he scanned as being dropped off at school so WHAT DO YOU MEAN HES NOT THERE?!?! He was, thankfully, but omg if my child were actually missing I would come so unhinged.

I remember when I was in elementary school that my mom got a call saying I was absent and my mom had dropped off. And the school had not checked throughly coming to find out they had sent me to a different room to finish my breakfast and they also called my classmates parents about the same thing and he was also sent to the same room as me to finish his breakfast

For months my mother got calls and text for a child that was absent and every time she called back and every time they didn’t do anything to change that and she got scared for the safety of the child and to tried to contact their parents by going to their school.

Once in middle school I was in school and we were in maybe 4th or 6th period out of 8 periods of the day each 45-55 minutes long the school called my grandma stating I was not in school today at all when she is the one that dropped me off and just because I was a very quiet kid and no one talked to me all my teachers marked me absent even though I was there never sitting in the back of any of my classes🤦🏼♀️
