next time put them in the fridge after wrapping them with the puff pastry, the butter in the pasty gets cold again and it won't leak as much.

for the apple pancakes you can try putting alittle sugar on them they taste amazing also if you use them as a side with potato soup. my grandma used to make them with our potato soup growing up ones of my favorite things
