From our volunteer observations, she appears to be social with other dogs and people, and she has a laid-back, gentle play style. Intake Notes 09/29/26: Owner spoke with our greeter and manager. Owner claimed it was his daughter's dog. Our greeter scanned for microchip; it lead back to him so we told him he needed an appointment for surrender. He didnt want to sign-in to wait. Owner let the pet go loose in the parking lot and walked away yelling. Shelter Observation 06/03/26: Greets at gate with wagging tail, treat motivated anfd will take gently from hand, unsure of pets 07/15/26: BAR, friendly, walks well on leash. 09/29/26: BAR,Greets you with a wagging tail but pulls very hard on leash allows to be pet otherwise 10/16/26 ALTERCATION: Grabbed anothers dogs paw through the kennel door and was the aggressor wasn't letting go but we eventually broke it up i don't think she should be in a half kennel Volunteer Observation 06/29/26: Medium Energy Jumpy;Knows Sit Loose/Wiggly Body Bebe wagged her tail medium speed when she saw me in front of her kennel. She was easy to leash up and bring outside to the play yard. She immediately began trotting around, with her tail wagging. She knows how to sit, but she takes a a few seconds before she actually sits down. While we were outside, she wagged her tail often. She enjoyed getting pets. She had a happy friendly demeanor 10/04/26: High Energy Jumpy;Leash Puller Social (Dogs);Social (People);Loose/Wiggly Body Wants to Run High energy girl who loves to run 10/10/26: Medium Energy Jumpy;Knows Sit;Pottied Immediately Social (People);Loose/Wiggly Body Wants to Play;Wants to Run Bebe was jumping up on her kennel door when I approached. She let me leash her up and take her outside. She has a lot of energy, but also has good manners. While I was out with her, a family was scheduled to do a meet and greet with her so I did it for the staff. The couple had young children, so I kept her on leash and she showed off that she knows sit. She was a very good girl and loved taking treats. 10/13/26: High Energy Leash Puller;Knows Sit Social (People);Reactive (Dogs);Loose/Wiggly Body Calms Down;Wants to Run;Wants to Sniff I took Bebe on a good walk on the DAS trail. She is friendly and easy to leash up although she pulls hard and needs a capable handler. She seemed to evoke reactivity in many dogs whose kennels we passed. Outside, she was still on edge most of the time and kept pulling but she stopped for pets and wagged her tail in response to affection. I believe she'd been long cooped up in the kennel and had some excess energy; I look forward to taking her out and working with her. #dallas #pledgesforpups #texas
