I would definitely work in the Coast (Gulf Shores/Orange Beach) and Mobile. When you’re in Mobile you HAVE to have a beignet at Mo’Bay’s Beignets. There’s too many good restaurants to name in that area - just pick one. Next, head to Tuscaloosa and take a tour of the campus and Paul Bear Bryant museum. Eat breakfast at the Waysider and lunch at Rama Jama’s (both are chocked full of Bama history and memorabilia). Probably could fit in a trip to Archibald’s for some Alabama BBQ, but whatever u do- don’t let anyone talk u into Dreamland- it USE to be the standard but its total ASS now. Then head to Birmingham and stay at Uptown Downtown. Walk around Five Points, and stop into Chez Fon Fon for dinner or lunch. For a little more upscale restaurant- I would go with Automatic Seafood - but if you want chill- El Barrios. Next, head to North East Bama, and go to Little River Canyon for beautiful hikes and waterfalls. Eat at the Wildflower Cafe - Chef Ben makes THE BEST tomato pie in the state (I live in Michigan now and I dream about it). Also, you are gonna be close-ish to a restaurant (2 locations either in Guntersville or Gadsden) called Top of the River - and I highly recommend. It will give you that Southern feel (gotta order a pot of greens and just trust me). After that- head to Muscle Shoals in NorthWest Bama and visit Fame Studios. You HAVE to watch the Documentary first (it’s called Muscle Shoals). You can FEEL the magic in that music studio -When you’re there - eat at Champy’s. It’s a small chain - which I don’t normally recommend- but their chicken livers and banana pudding are probably the best I have ever had. After that- you are gonna be somewhat close to Huntsville- home of NASA - they have a museum that ppl can visit that would be pretty cool if you had never seen it (I went TOO many times as a kid, lol). Ask around abt restaurant recommendations. There’s SO MUCH there- you can get whatever you want - but I liked a place called Cotton Row. Hope this helps! Oh, and pro tip- “Roll Tide” can be used as a greeting/goodbye, when agreeing with someone or to say HELL YES to something, or just to fill in random gaps in conversation 😂

start in orange beach, take the drive up through Foley and head to Mobile. stop at Felix's Fish camp on the causeway for a meal and ask for the sautéed crab claws. Then go to downtown mobile and explore the historic homes. but make sure to check out the USS Alabama and/or the Mardi Gras museum. both are great. then head north and check out some of the beautiful waterfalls!

@Taylor and Zervan Mentone, Little River Canyon and DeSoto Falls. Little River Lake Canyon is the "Grand Canyon of the South" Also visit Guntersville! The trees are starting to turn colors up North and there is camping at Lake Guntersville State Park. Their lodge is beautiful! Also Mount Cheaha, highest peak in Alabama...camping is available as well. Enjoy and welcome.
