idk where people get off acting like there isnt racism and colorism in Hispanic society. when I was a kid, my grandmother of red hair and green eyes would belittle my cousin who is black hispanic. treated her like the maid. there is definitely racism within the culture in many ways. mind you, I'm a white Hispanic myself and even though I saw my grandmother do that, I never chose to follow those footsteps. I've taught my own family to be respectful and kind to everyone, no matter their race, ethnicity, or background.

There’s literally no race/ethnicity that isn’t colorist to some extent. Idk what Latinos are on to insist it’s the exception. Ive literally had tias compliment me when I’m sick cause of how nice and pale my skin looks. Those type of compliments don’t exist unless there’s through line of colorism in the culture???

The colorism is so bad, I used to be just a tad bit browner then the rest of my family became my dad was darker and I was called Indian most of my life plus had my skinned bleached up until I was 14? I’m much paler now but I still get called Indian for my features so I feel like no matter what I just lose

Their is no Latino community and really a full ok German person can join in by learning Spanish it’s all an act as someone who’s family is from Mexico I didn’t grow up going oh wow this bad bunny music really feels like a part of me that’s just weird and claiming another groups music of African Spanish descendants.
