The US have been outsourcing refining of rare earths for too long and now needs 10 years to reach current level China has and a lot of capital. It defense industry is facing serious challenges and will lose global market share and unable to refill its own depleted stockpile of weapons lost in the war with Iran

It's Brilliant. China controls most of the processed Rare Earth in the world and they are not selling to the US, meaning the US can't make weapons or jets , ships, subs , cars , computers and the list goes on . US will have to stop the wars as the country falls into recession .
