Now let me tell y’all about this video… 🤣 We’re at the after-party at Auntie and Uncle’s house, everybody’s celebrating, having a good time, enjoying family… And next thing I know, ALL THE AUNTIES ARE CALLING ME INSIDE! 😂😂 They wanted me to sit down, turn the camera on, and try all the different foods they had prepared! Y’all… I was EXCITED, NERVOUS, and getting put ON THE SPOT all at the same time! 🤣🔥 Tonight’s lineup included: 🥩 Nam 🥬 Som Pak 🥩 Seen Hang 🍚 Khao Niew — Sticky Rice And let me tell you… the food was only HALF the entertainment! 😂 Everybody’s talking, laughing, telling me what to try next, and I’m just trying to keep up with everything going on around me! 🤣 But seriously, THIS is one of the things I love most about being married into a Lao family. 🇱🇦❤️ The food. The celebrations. The laughter. The way everybody comes together. And most importantly, the way they make you feel like you’re part of something special. There’s so much love and pride behind the food they prepare, and the fact that these aunties wanted me to sit down, try their cooking, and share it with all of YOU genuinely means a lot to me. 🙏🏻 I started making these videos because I love eating Lao food… but somewhere along the way, it’s become about SO MUCH MORE than just food. It’s FAMILY. It’s CULTURE. It’s MAKING MEMORIES. ❤️🇱🇦 And sometimes it’s about a bunch of Lao aunties putting this Arkansas boy on the spot while everybody gets a good laugh! 🤣🤣 To all the aunties, THANK YOU for feeding me, welcoming me, and making this such a fun memory!
