When I was a housekeeper they would rush us soo bad we would have to leave some chores behind and then we’d get in trouble for it, or we would just have to not clean as good, I couldn’t do that so I was the slowest

I'm a health inspector and I couldn't tell you how many times I've gotten a complaint about a hotel being disgusting, only to show up and find that there's like one hair on the floor and a speck of dust on the shelf 😭

freaky little moth wizard :
I'm a housekeeper- the secret is that we sanitize the high touch areas and only 'clean clean' when we notice it becoming dirty. it's not a great practice- obviously- but it's an industry that prioritizes filled beds and quick turn overs. plus, we get paid like garbage most of the time, and aren't given any real training on how to manage bigger problems.
