Working from home with my two year old and two month old. I admittedly still don’t have a groove down because more often than not throughout the week I still have Cory home and helping with the kids while he’s still on partial paternity leave. But today he was in the office which left me solo with both the boys. It’s clearly a little chaotic, which I anticipated hence the waking up early and getting some quiet work hours in beforehand. Depending on how the afternoon goes, I might put some more evening hours in once Cory gets home around 4pm. But ultimately I’m grateful to have a job that affords enough flexibility to let me get my work done around my kids schedule for the most part. I try to keep semi regular hours because who wants to be opening their email at all times of the day, but trying to make this all jive means rolling with the punches some days.
