It really is hard to cook for just 2 people when you're used to cooking for 4-5. Winter time is my time to shine when it comes to dinner bc my crockpot makes it so easy. The next day we have leftovers for lunch. I also have an insta pot that has made it easier too.

Love your husband being the cook, when my late husband Bruce was alive, he would cook me meals like that too, l miss those meals, l cook but not like that, only on Sundays, l cook a big meal, especially if my children come home for a couple of days, hugssss ♥️♥️♥️

I cook big pots of soup then freeze serving sizes for myself and hubby in freezer bags. I date and label them and tgrr er y are just as good as c when I first make them. I have a freezer full right now in preparation for my up coming knee replacement surgery. I have a variety of soups, rice dishes, meatloaf, speghetti and marry me chicken sauce, beans even corn bready ready to pull out for the beans!

My husband loves too cook! Me I do but it not my thing! My mom rest her soul use to make him a pumpkin pie every Thanksgiving. I made my first yesterdays and it wasn’t bad!
