I saw a video explaining why models don’t walk like this anymore. Back then clothing collections took over a year to be prepared, therefore it gave the models more room to walk in their signature way. Back then they wanted to drag attention to the clothe and let each piece have its moments. Now a days we are in the time period of fast fashion. Collections that used to take up to a year to complete now need to be made in three months. So now we see models walk in a very monotone way bc they don’t have the time to truly value it. They need to be quick getting everything “into” style bc very soon it’ll be out.
