it probably started because it says “guaranteed to start” on it. however it didn’t stay running because it does NOT say “guaranteed to run”.

I have this same model. Before this model I had a 20 year old toro never one problem ever. Then I got a new one for what you ask,to have headaches.

Great video for the common person not sure if these newer plastic carbs still have the choke sticking problem which might also be the cause of problems. Assuming you have addressed this in a prior video though. Keep it up!

also that red o-ring behind the manifold right there will swell up and cause it to suck in the air and they won't run right so when you rebuild the carburetor make sure you replace that O-ring behind the manifold

My neighbor across the street threw out an almost new mower years ago. He had already bought a new one when I asked him if I could have the old one. I used a wire bread tie to clean out the carb and used it for several more years.
