@hustlersnthehood: Kayla Summers, a single mom in Georgia, took in a 12-month-old girl named Paisleigh in June 2024. The plan was for Paisleigh to go back to her biological family, and Kayla knew that from day one. "I'd have to push the thought out of my mind," she said. Then the paperwork came. Paisleigh's middle name was Renee, the same middle name Kayla and her mother have. Later she found out Paisleigh was born on her mother's birthday. "I literally gasped," she said. Kayla was there for her first steps, her first words and her first teeth. Four months in, she asked the case manager about adoption. On September 30, more than two years after Paisleigh came home, a judge made it official. They showed up to court in matching white dresses. "She is a mini version of me." #HustlersNTheHood
