Yep classic behind the starter, im all for aftermarket but anything internal is oem only i dont give aftermarket option on that

Same happened to me. Tig weld it as is. I didn't tear block apart to weld.

This is extremely common. You need to Always pull the starter check the block with any internal failure.

I've used low melt aluminum rod harbor freight has them in stock. I had a ac compressor side flange snap of. I used metal form and filled it in and drilled a new bolt hole. And it worked!

the Amazon cams are trash I put one in a 17.5 intek. and it rounded rhe lobes into a circle in 2 seasons. lol
