My wife’s mom was from Thailand and I’m Cajun from south Louisiana. I will never forget the first time walking inside my wife’s home. The small the decor the culture of taking shoes off at the door was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I was in awe!

If I’m being honest, I don’t know if it was the actual boyfriend. I think it’s knowing that their daughter is gonna move to a completely different country. That’s the heartbreaking part because after we raise our children, we start looking forward to grandchildren.. They’re gonna miss a lot. 💔

Give it time, your parents will love him. My wife was disowned by her parents until we married, over 25 years later, 2 beautiful daughters, they love me like their own.
