@therideview: The Simpsons is bringing stop-motion Halloween fun to Treehouse of Horror XXXVII, with an opening sequence inspired by The Nightmare Before Christmas. The stop-motion sequence was created by Stoopid Buddy Stoodios, the team behind Robot Chicken, bringing a unique twist to the long-running animated series’ annual Halloween special. The episode will also parody several horror and pop culture favorites, including Freaky Friday, Pet Sematary and Smile. Treehouse of Horror XXXVII premieres October 25 on FOX in the United States.
