fought till i was 17 to even get to charge my phone in my room at night. sister never had to deal w it. she got the car when she turned 16 and mom is paying for college yet i was expected to “figure it out”or i wouldn’t be allowed to live under her roof. well guess who figured it out because i have my degree and live on my own and my 2 year old car is paid off

I hate when parents switch up like that, my little sister was allowed light up sketchers when I couldn’t “because they’d electrocute me” and I got an iPhone for my 12th birthday (got an android brick for my 10th bc I walked to school alone) and that Christmas my 9 year old sister got an iPhone as her first phone for no reason bc we took the school’s minibus every day!!!

I’m 23 almost 24 and I still get upset at my mom for making me wait 3 years to turn 13 before I was allowed to dye my hair. My sisters got to dye theirs that same day. At 12 and 10. I was pissed then and I’m still pissed

fought so hard to get a phone when I was 13 and about to graduate middle school and literally losing friends bc i didn’t have a phone… my 11 year old sister got a phone same time I did and didn’t have to experience a single day of middle school without a phone 💔

had screen time on my phone with a limit of 2 hours everyday from when i was 11. got a new phone when i was 17 and asked for my screen time to be turned off for the first time in my life. my 15 year old sister was also allowed for her screen time to be turned off as well. i was furious to say the least

i wasn’t allowed to sleepover or hangout with my friends EVER when i was in middle school. my 13 year old sister hangs out with hers almost every day. my curfew all throughout highschool was STRICTLY 10pm, was grounded until they felt like it if i was 1 minute late. my 17 yr old sister stays out until 3-4am when she goes out as long as she texts my mom that she’s ok. i could actually write a book abt this it’s so annoying.
