Tough to get anything worth sending for $500 but you certainly don’t need a super pricy bike either…I would save up a bit more before pulling the trigger and buy from the used market!!!!

Used is the way to go. Browse marketplace. I recently picked up a 5 year old trek top fuel 8 for 800 bucks.
