@thejavegan: Breadfruit & Chickpea Salad🥗 Mi loveee breadfruit with my whole heart😩. This salad was so fresh, flavourful and FILLING! I love how the natural flavours of the plants and fresh herbs come through without needing excessive seasoning or salt. I boiled my breadfruit because I was too lazy to roast it😂, but I can only imagine how good this would taste with roasted breadfruit🤤 INGREDIENTS👇🏾 Breadfruit Chickpeas Scallion Red onion Tomato Cucumber Scotch bonnet Garlic Parsley Thyme Cuban Oregano Smoked paprika Dates Simple Tahini Dressing: Tahini, lime juice, Olive oil & Water The dates add a nice natural sweetness that complements the slight bitterness of the tahini dressing so well! I didn’t add any sea salt, but feel free to add some along with your favourite herbs or dry seasonings to suit your taste🫶🏾 #caribbeanvegan #breadfruit #italisvital #caribbeanfood #saladrecipe

You can use a homemade cashew or sunflower seed mayo, a clean store bought vegan mayo, add pear🥑 or simply drizzle with olive oil and mix everything together😋 This salad did nice bad😍 and I can only imagine how good it would be with roasted breadfruit oh gad🤤

Yuuummmmm!!! I made a breadfruit salad recently also, and blended soaked cashews and used it as the sauce. I like this one even more with the Chickpeas and herbs incorporated.
